About the Role
Full-time Dental Receptionist -- Bergenfield Dental, a state-of-the art, fee-for-service private office, is looking for an experienced, professional dental receptionist to be the welcoming face and voice of our practice.
This is not an insurance mill -- we treat private, fee-for-service patients in a calm atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
* greet patients in a warm, professional manner
* answer phones, schedule, confirm
* collect payments at time of service, submit insurance
Requirements:
* 3 years of dental front desk experience
* professional communications skills and polished phone manner
* team player -- reliable, organized, friendly
* Dexis software knowledge a plus
Monday: 9 - 6
Tues/Thurs: 8:30-5:30
Fri/Sat: 8:30-2 (every other Saturday in the summer)
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
- Greet each patient with a warm, welcoming attitude, making them feel comfortable and valued.
- Take charge of insurance claims, verifications, and billing to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date patient records.
- Support the dental team with administrative tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
full-time $29 - $31 per hour
